Deepti Bharthur is a Senior Research Associate at IT for Change where she contributes to academic, action, and policy research in the areas of data economy, platforms and digital exclusions, digital citizenship. In addition to this, she manages the alternative media platform Bot Populi, and is currently leading an action research project in the city of Bengaluru, looking at community led data systems for enhancing civic engagement.
