DI Christian Kogler, born in 1980, studied applied physics at the Graz University of Technology, where he focused on theoretical, computational and space physics. In cooperation with the Austrian Academy of Science he wrote his master thesis on boundary detection in space plasmas 2009. After he finished his study he worked from 2009 until 2011 for the European Space Agency (ESA) in Rome, dealing with climate change and global temperature phenomena measured by satellite born instruments. Since 2011 Christian Kogler supports the Dynamic Transportation Systems team at AIT’s Center for Mobility Systems, being responsible for the implementation of traffic telematics projects, crowd management and optimization of passenger flows.
