Kirstin Rossgoderer heads the project "Cooperation with the private sector" at GIZ, which advises the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on cooperation between international development cooperation and economic actors and develops and implements concrete cooperation formats. She is responsible for the topic "Sustainable Development through Tourism", which also includes the sector dialogue "Tourism for Sustainable Development" (Branchendialog “Tourismus für nachhaltige Entwicklung”) with stakeholders from the German and European tourism industry. Before joining GIZ in 2014, Kirstin Rossgoderer worked in the private sector for several years. She holds a degree in International Cultural and Business Studies from the University of Passau and has gained international experience in several countries.
