Prof. Dr. phil. Dipl.-Geogr. Marcus Herntrei, MBA – Professor for International Tourism Management at the European Campus Rottal-Inn, a faculty of Deggendorf Institute of Technology. He is course coordinator for Bachelor International Tourism Management / Health & Medical Tourism and course coordinator for Master International Tourism Development. His research interests are destination management / governance / leadership, tourism in the context of regional development, public participation in destination development and health tourism.
